Key trip facts at a glance.
The Annapurna Base Camp gives a deep-rooted feeling of trekking. It is indeed fantastic and adventurous for those people who love enjoying the natural flora and fauna with pedantic snow-capped peaks. This ideal trek is a classical one to take in unparalleled mountain scenery and the enormous glaciers’ outlook, including true Nepalese life and culture. Annapurna Base Camp trekking starts and ends in Pokhara, being a part of the Annapurna Circuit or the Jomsom/Muktinath trek. The Annapurna Base Camp is spread from Tatopani through Ghorepani and Tadapani by joining the main Sanctuary trail at Chhomrong. The trek involves several ascents and descents but is not so hard to attempt, as there are several alternative routes to the Sanctuary, all meeting at Chhomrong.
Annapurna Base Camp trails are also famous for trekkers because the principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge fully 12,000 ft. deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking in Nepal, and the valley is located so that these treks can be easily combined with treks into the Kali Gandaki region to the west.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a moderate trek suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5 to 7 hours a day with a light rucksack. On some days we might even need to walk for 7 to 8 hours. Walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes; however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive attitude, and have strong determination, we may accomplish the trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly is a good idea to enhance our strength and stability. No previous trekking experience is needed for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform us before booking the trips. We also recommend that you consult your doctor before the trip.
We will organize for you the best and most deluxe hotel in Kathmandu as per your requirements and tea-house lodge during the Annapurna trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. However, tea houses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking area at lower elevations, but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.
We will provide all breakfast at Kathmandu and Pokhara to valuable guests. And 3 times a day, meals of breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided during the trek. Generally, we recommend to our guests to take typical Nepali traditional foods like Dal Bhat and curry, because they will be fresh and good for your hygiene.
March to May and September to December are the best months for these trekking trips. Although this trip can be taken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.

Nepal is a wonderful land to visit, geographically located between China and India—a landlocked country, but we can get the variety of weather and different land structures here in Nepal. In the northern part of Nepal, you can see the panoramic mountains, including Mt. Everest—the top of the world. The middle part of Nepal is a hilly region; Kathmandu and Pokhara are also included in the hilly region, and it is a land for trekking and hiking. Hilly regions are the gateway to adventure trekking trails like Langtang, Everest, and Annapurna. The south part of the country is the Terai region, and you can find flat land and warm weather. You are hiking in the Annapurna region, which is located in the middle part of the country. You will hike every day for 3 to 7 hours. On the way, if you feel uncomfortable or get sick, we will use first aid in the beginning; if it is not sufficient, we will take you to the nearest hospital if it happens. However, it is only for 3 days of hiking; we hope you will complete it smoothly.
