The main attractions during the trips are the Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple), Boudhanath (the largest Buddhist stupa in the world), Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. During the tour, we will also visit Hanumandhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (living goddess), and Taleju Temple, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, which used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, Nepal Himalaya Tour’s representative will pick you up from the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Following this, you can enjoy a quick break and welcome drink at the hotel. Then, we will meet up with you for a short briefing about the trip. The Kathmandu Holiday Tour Package has everything planned for the capital city on the second day, and it is a very busy day. We start the day with a breakfast and embark on a journey toward the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our first visit would be to Pashupatinath Temple, a holy Hindu shrine, followed by Swayambhunath Stupa and then Baudhanath Stupa. The last destination for today would be the Kathmandu Durbar Square, basically a palace enriched in the great history of the kings who called it their home. The day wraps up with a free evening for roaming local streets and snacking on the street foods that can be found in the Basantapur area.

Today we drive to Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square; both are major UNESCO World Heritage Sites and palaces in their own right. Next, after visiting these places, we drive to Nagarkot, which is about 30 km east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is the best place to see the sunset and sunrise over the mountains. Here, we take an overnight stay amidst fresh air at the altitude of 2175 m.

Waking up early on the last day of the Kathmandu tour package, the early sunrise view captures the golden light onto the panorama of mountain peaks. Then, we take a hearty breakfast before heading back to Kathmandu airport for departure, concluding this short but memorable Kathmandu holiday tour.
