Trip Overview

The Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan tour is one of the best and easiest ways to explore the beauty of nature and the scenic view of the Himalayas in Nepal. The Kathmandu Valley is well-known as “the cultural hub of Nepal.” It is in a bowl-shaped valley, surrounded by 10,000-foot-high mountains. The valley is full of historic, artistic, and cultural interests with the visibility of the peaks of the majestic Himalaya from several parts. Along with seven UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Sites, one can find uncountable numbers of ancient golden pagoda temples and shrines throughout the valley with lots of inspiring Hindu and Buddhist deities.

Pokhara, “The Center of Adventure of Nepal,” is a subtropical valley that is at an altitude of 827 m above sea level and 200 km northwest of Kathmandu. Pokhara is nestled at the foot of the majestic Himalayas and is full of emerald lakes, gushing rivers, and dense green forests. It is the only valley in the world from which one can have the stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains higher than 8000 m from below 1000 m.

Chitwan National Park, one of the richest and most well-known wildlife reserves in Asia, is situated 165 km southwest of Kathmandu. The park is one of the two UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites, which covers an area of 932 sq. km and conserves more than 43 species of mammals, 450 out of the total estimated 750 species of birds in Nepal, many varieties of butterflies, and 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. The national park offers a unique ecosystem encompassing hills, oxbow lakes, flood plains, tall grasslands, and thick jungles dominated by sal trees (Shorea robusta).

Things to know before you go to Nepal

Nepal is a wonderful land to visit, geographically located between India and China—a landlocked country, but we can get the variety of weather and different land structures here in Nepal. In the northern part of Nepal, you can see the panoramic mountains, including Mt. Everest—the top of the world. The middle part of Nepal is a hilly region; Kathmandu and Pokhara are also included in the hilly region, and it is a land for trekking and hiking. Hilly regions are the gateway to adventure trekking trails like Langtang, Everest, and Annapurna. The south part of the country is the Terai region, and you can find flat land and warm weather. We can visit this part for a holiday tour, including a wildlife jungle safari tour. You are visiting Nepal for a luxury holiday trip, so during the visit, Nepal Himalaya Tours will provide you with the best transportation, 5-star hotel accommodation, and Everest mountain flights as per your interest. We also organize the Everest breakfast tour by helicopter at Everest View Hotel, Syangboche, where you can see the Mt. Everest courtyard.

Short Briefing

Evening of arrival day, generally we give a short briefing about Nepal, its people, culture, history, nature, and place information. In the next few days, you will feel easy and comfortable after having the tips about the information. You may ask any question or query you have in this orientation meeting or any time before you depart for your trip.

Extend Your Trip

Nepal Himalaya Tours are always flexible for the extension of the particular trip you are undertaking. If you enjoy the trip you are doing, you can extend it to a few more days. But, for this, you must contact us before completing the trip so that we can manage your interest, and we must extend the accommodation, transportation, and other minor needs as well, and you should pay some little additional cost extra, which we will settle in understanding easily.

Personal Expenses

Except for your holiday package, you must need extra personal expenses for yourself. Because you are on your holiday trip, of course you love incurring extra expenses on the trip, like juice or alcoholic drinks, extra coffee, additional meals, and shopping on the tour. You must have to allocate some dollars or Nepali currency; that will make your holiday fun.
