The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is an easy and short trekking trail in the Annapurna region. It is suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5 to 8 hours a day with a light rucksack. On some days we might even need to walk for 6 to 8 hours. Walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes; however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive attitude, and have strong determination, we may accomplish the trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly is a good idea to enhance our strength and stability. No previous trekking experience is needed for the Poon Hill trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform us before booking the trips.
We will organize for you the best hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per your requirements, and teahouse lodges will be used during the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. However, tea houses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking area at lower elevations, but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations. So do not expect deluxe accommodation in the rural areas. However, we will provide you the best one available.
You will have fresh Nepali foods during the trek; however, there are also Western and continental foods available. We don’t recommend taking those foods because they may have been stored for a long time, so traditional Nepali foods like dal bhat tarkari are the best while trekking. Somewhere you can see a full slogan: “Dal bhat power, 24 hours.”

Nepal is a wonderful land to visit, geographically located between China and India—a landlocked country, but we can get the variety of weather and different land structures here in Nepal. In the northern part of Nepal, you can see the panoramic mountains, including Mt. Everest—the top of the world. The middle part of Nepal is a hilly region; Kathmandu and Pokhara are also included in the hilly region, and it is a land for trekking and hiking. Hilly regions are the gateway to adventure trekking trails like Langtang, Everest, and Annapurna. The south part of the country is the Terai region, and you can find flat land and warm weather. You are hiking in the Annapurna region, which is located in the middle part of the country. You will hike every day for 3 to 7 hours. On the way, if you feel uncomfortable or get sick, we will use first aid in the beginning; if it is not sufficient, we will take you to the nearest hospital if it happens. However, it is only for 3 days of hiking; we hope you will complete it smoothly.
